A group of activists held a peaceful demonstration in Nairobi on Tuesday in protest over the death of social media influencer Albert Ojwang.
Ojwang is alleged to have died while under police custody at Nairobi Central Police Station.
The activists who carried placards and national flags walked from the Nairobi Funeral Home(formerly City Mortuary), where the postmortem was being conducted, to Nairobi CBD before heading to Vigilance House.
Postmortem showed that he died from head injuries, neck compression, and multiple soft tissue trauma with pathologists ruling out the narrative that self-inflicted injuries caused the death.
